What is the Hesco Barrier?

Hesco barrier is a vital protective solution used in modern warfare and flood control. Also referred to as an explosion-proof wall or lock sandbag, this innovative product consists of welded gabion mesh combined with geotextile materials, enabling it to retain fine sand, soil, and stones. The Hesco barrier serves as a replacement for traditional military bunker sandbags and offers a sustainable, recyclable alternative that aligns with China's vision for green environmental protection.

The construction of the metal wire mesh container utilizes high carbon steel wire, which is welded through a specialized process to enhance its overall strength and durability. For superior corrosion resistance, the surface of the welded mesh is treated with hot-dip galvanizing or zinc aluminum alloy technology. These features allow the Hesco barrier to maintain its integrity even in harsh environmental conditions.

The inner lining of the barrier includes heavy-duty non-woven geotextile material, which possesses flame retardant and UV-resistant qualities.
